'All glitters' - The new album by Feine Sahne Fischfilet will be released on May 12, 2023.

Five years ago, Feine Sahne Fischfilet released their last album, which propelled the group from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the top 3 of the charts, achieving what is commonly referred to as the 'big breakthrough'. This was unusual for a band that was founded in 2004 by a few school friends in a small town, with the main goal of making things happen in their immediate environment, not to complain and wait for others to do something for them, but to take matters into their own hands in every aspect, privately, politically, and otherwise.

In the following years, they were constantly on Tour, starting in the youth centers of their home region and then Touring through various clubs and autonomous centers across the country, eventually becoming regular guests at the most important festivals in the German-speaking area. Even at their own concerts, the venues and open airs kept getting bigger. Feine Sahne Fischfilet embraced their listeners when things got tough. And things were always tough. Everything was included: disillusionment, drinking, fun, agitation, reason, rioting, and excess. And because the band also repeatedly got politically involved and rubbed people the wrong way, trouble is always pre-programmed and often an ongoing state. Nazis, AfD, and local and regional right-wing extremists of all kinds constantly put obstacles in their way. 'Alles auf Rausch' (Everything on Binge) was one of the concert Tours during this phase, and that's exactly how Feine Sahne Fischfilet were on the road until they took a longer break at the end of 2019. Sometimes they took off, sometimes they fell hard on their faces. But after every binge, the hangover follows...

All of this madness, all these ambivalences, all the good and bad days are reflected in the songs of their new album 'Alles glänzt' (Everything glitters), great songs oscillating between emotions and toughness. And one of Feine Sahne Fischfilet's special strengths also comes to the fore on the new work: they repeatedly cross musical boundaries, turning their uptempo punk rock into a multifaceted listening pleasure that will move not only the feet but also the hearts of their fans.

The 12 new songs of 'Alles glänzt' were produced by Philipp 'Philsen' Hoppen, who is known and celebrated for his production work for Die Ärzte, Kraftklub, and K.I.Z, among others.
