Appearing as a black double LP in a gatefold.

With album number 3, the one-man show SHYLMAGOGHNAR establishes itself definitively as one of the most captivating black metal acts! What started as a duo in 2004 has now evolved into a one-man band, but the atmospheric black metal act Shylmagoghnar presents itself harder and stronger than ever before on the upcoming new album Convergence (available from November 10, 2023, via Napalm Records). Shylmagoghnar, led by multi-instrumentalist and founding member Nimblkorg, is still a completely self-produced project in the home studio. Convergence picks up where the previous two albums, the critically acclaimed Emergence (2014) and Transience (2018), left off, and is the final part of a trilogy. While the predecessors invited the listener on a journey of human existence and through time and space, Convergence explores the path of death one goes through before departing. The protagonist of the album is on the verge of death, and the lyrics describe their emotional, philosophical, and psychedelic sensations. However, the new Shylmagoghnar album can also be understood as an allegory of learning, namely letting go of positive and negative themes from the past and ultimately finding inner peace. Musically, Shylmagoghnar delivers the perfect soundtrack, where raw heaviness meets pure elegy, and the destruction of harmony repeatedly makes way.
