NITE comes from a long and storied lineage of Heavy Metal . The Bay Area has produced thrash titans like Metallica, and although it's not what most metalheads imagine when they go to their happy place, the sunny climate of Northern California has inspired Death to turn to death metal.

These San Franciscans carry this torch with pride. All five members have played in other bands that span the coast, but they came together in Northern California in 2018. It didn't take long for NITE to make their presence known. Their debut Album appeals to old metalheads and newcomers alike. Just listen to 'Genesis,' which opens 'Darkness Silence Mirror Flame' with dueling leads that clash with the bright, arena-Rocking melodies of the NWOBHM. But NITE is not interested in reliving past glory. Van Labrakis' dark growls give these delicious, old-fashioned riffs a beautiful, blackened charm.
