Il 20 Aprile 1992, nello stadio di Wembley a Londra, si è svolto uno dei più grandi eventi Rock di tutta la storia musicale. I Queen hanno reso omaggio al loro cantante, deceduto a causa dell'aids l'anno prima, con uno show spettacolare e tanti importanti ospiti.
Il "Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert" racchiude la seconda parte dell'evento (105 minuti). I membri della band Brian May, John Deacon e Roger Taylor hanno eseguito le loro canzoni più famose accompagnati da musicisti di tutto il panorama musicale. Notevoli le performances di "I Want It All" con il cantante degli Who Roger Daltrey e il chitarrista Tony Iommi dei Black Sabbath, la leggenda dei Led Zeppelin Robert Plant ("Crazy Little Thing Called Love"), il front-man dei Def Leppard Joe Elliott e il chitarrista dei Guns N'Roses Slash ("Tie Your Mother Down"), il frontman dei Metallica James Hetfield and Tony Iommi ("Stone Cold Crazy") e Lisa Stansfield ("I Want To Break Free"). Ma anche il tranquillo momento con Paul Young ("Radio Ga Ga"), David Bowie e la cantante degli Eurythmics Annie Lennox ("Under Pressure"), Elton John ("Bohemian Rhapsody", "The Show Must Go On") e George Michael ("'39", "These Are The Days Of Our Life", "Somebody To Love"). Il momento più emozionante è sicuramente quello del solo di chitarra di Brian May, nella canzone "Too Much Love Will Kill You".
