With 13 diverse tracks from their entire discography, the young musicians from Reykjavik take their fans on a psychedelic journey. The opener of their last studio album, 'Whispers,' clearly shows the musical development of the band without losing their proven retro sound. 'Crysheightized' impresses with light blues influences and compelling guitar work before quickly building up to its full power. 'On The Run' entices with an acoustic intro that builds into a catchy melody in the chorus, proving to be a true earworm. 'Can't Get You Out Of My Mind' captivates with thundering drums, intense guitar solos, and an unmistakably catchy chorus. Tracks like 'Psychedelic Mushroom Man' from their self-titled debut album of 2011 represent an impressive blueprint in THE VINTAGE CARAVAN's musical universe, with unconventional melodies and the compelling vocals of Óskar. In contrast, powerful drumming merges with fast riffs, creating an impressive galloping force, as in the gripping rock song 'Cocaine Sally' from their second album.
