While fans anxiously await the follow-up to CRADLE OF FILTH's highly acclaimed album Existence Is Futile (2021, #9 on the German Album Charts), the extreme metal legends, led by scene icon Dani Filth, have heard the calls of their fanbase and are releasing Trouble And Their Double Lives, their first live album in over 20 years in 2023! This diabolical spectacle will be released on April 28, 2023. CRADLE OF FILTH recorded the album between 2014 and 2019 during various shows in the USA, Europe, Australia, as well as their 'Cryptoriana World Tour' and subsequent dates. This musical time capsule is packed with intense live energy and provides an excellent testament to an entire era of the band.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk, England, with recordings by Danny B, the brand new live onslaught not only includes a series of fan favorites from the acclaimed discography of the British band but also two bonus tracks and two completely new songs. Classics such as 'Nymphetamine (Fix),' 'The Death of Love,' and 'Blackest Magick in Practice' are joined by 'She is a Fire' and 'Demon Prince Regent.' The latter offer a taste of what can be expected on future CRADLE OF FILTH studio albums. 'She is a Fire' opens Trouble And Their Double Lives with a dark riff, ominous atmosphere, and captivating keys. Dani Filth's bone-chilling vocals alternate between haunting screams and devilish whispers, accompanied by powerful guitar leads and heavy drums. 'Demon Prince Regent' starts with the darkest, pitch-black sounds, only to transform into a furious headbanging assault shortly after. Dramatic, cinematic symphonic nuances underline this melancholic anthem, which can already be hailed as a future classic.
