EVERDAWN is a symphonic metal band from New Jersey that is led by women.

The band was originally founded in March 2014 under the name Midnight Eternal and consisted of founding members Boris Zaks, Richard Fischer, Dan Prestup, and Mike LePond.

In early 2016, the band signed deals with Intromental Management and later with Marquee/Avalon (Asia) and Inner Wound Recordings (Europe/North America) for the release of their self-titled debut album.

The album was produced by Eric Rachel (Skid Row, Symphony X) and mixed and mastered by Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Jorn). The impressive artwork was designed by Jan Yrlund (Apocalyptica, Korpiklaani, Delain).

The band embarked on a North American Tour as support for the amazing prog veterans Queensryche and Toured Europe as support for the avant-garde kings Therion - two amazing and lengthy Tours that took the band to a new level. Suddenly, they were a name to be reckoned with, and this was all after just one album.

After some lineup changes and the addition of the amazing voice of the young and very talented Russian-born Canadian singer Alina Gavrilenko, who brought a full-bodied, energetic vocal approach to the band's new songs, the name was changed to EVERDAWN to signify a fresh start.

In spring 2020, EVERDAWN signed a worldwide contract with American record label Sensory, which was impressed by the band's high level of talent. This was for the release of the New Jersey band's second album.

The album titled 'Cleopatra' was released worldwide on March 5, 2021. It was recorded in the summer of 2019 and mixed and mastered by Dan Swano, who is known for his work as both a musician and producer (Opeth, Evergrey, Oddland, Omnium Gatherum, among others). The album dives even deeper into the melodic furnace that produces the hits.

The stunning artwork for the new album was painted by the incredibly talented Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsak (Annihilator, Grave Digger, Tyr, among others) and showcases a breathtakingly beautiful version of the ancient Egyptian queen and the surroundings of her temples and lands. A must-have for collectors!

After the release of 'Cleopatra,' a replacement for LePond had to be found as he had too many commitments with his main band Symphony X. The replacement was local bassist Alan D'Angelo, and the five-piece band embarked on a sold-out European Tour as the sole support act for internationally acclaimed guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker while simultaneously writing their new work 'Venera,' which was recorded, mixed, and mastered in the autumn of 2022 (Jacob Hansen @ Hansen Studios took care of the sound, as he has done for so many bands, including Volbeat, Amaranthe, Destruction, Pretty Maids).

The band's melodic style is unmistakable, and with soaring guitar solos and a truly unique voice, EVERDAWN proves that they are a band to be reckoned with.
